Does anybody know how I would make these. Obviously I know how to make and prepare the cupcakes but cannot figure out how the dinasaur and the "egg" part are done.

Hope you can help.

I'd say the best way is to prepare the cupcake as usual, then when it comes to making the fondant top - cut out the circle to fit the cupcake, and cut the 'cracks' of the egg with a knife before putting it on the cake. Some should cut all the way through to allow the dino inside, almost like a cross, some should only be slight dents for the cracked look! Gently pull the cut parts away from the circle to create the 'burst' effect. Pop it on the cupcake (which I assume you use buttercream underneath to hold the rounded shape) and place the dinosaur inside the gap.

As for the dino...I'm sure there will be a tutorial on making mini sp dinos somewhere on the internet that will describe it better than me :P

Hope that helps?
