Hi Guys,

Can anyone please help by suggesting an effective nozzle which will make beautiful flames.  I will be using red, orange and yellow buttercream and want to cover a whole cake in flames.  The plan is to show Toothless (dragon) and hiccup coming out of a fire burst from the movie who trained the dragon.

Any help will be much appreciated...

Thanks,

open star tips, in various sizes for visual interest...

below pic was a simple, quick cake that I used a 2 shades of orange buttercream (in same piping bag) and #17 open-star tip for easy flames...

a tribute to my favorite AMMO Troop, IYAAYAS, iconic Pisspot, vanilla ABC, 2tone flames, freehand piping, 9"

for more elaborate flames, I would do add more color/shades of color and vary the tips (thicker/taller flames behind thinner/shorter flames).
