Hello there,

I am planning on making a Noah's Ark cake. I want to make the ark from rice krispies covered in fondant, with possibly fondant animals, or maybe modeling chocolate animals and place all of this onto a buttercream iced cake. Do you think the fondant touching the buttercream will start to soften to much? Any suggestions would be great. Thanks

Most of my cakes are buttercream with fondant decorations. As long as you don't store the finished cake in an airtight plastic container until time to cut it, you'll be okay. I usually store mine in boxes.
