Another 'how Far In Advance' Question

Im making some cupcake toppers and they will be made entirely out of MMF. Since I have to make quite a few, I thought Id make them in advance.

I have two themes to make..Moshi Monsters and Wizard of Oz :-) (hope they turn out nice)...

How far in advance can I make them?

Just to give you an idea...I hope I can make them similar to these ones...some like these..and some other designs

They are 3-D...I might make some 2D - to make it easier.

For Wizard of Oz...perhaps a witches hat/broom, tinman hearts, yellow brick road..and small red ruby shoes..

AI would think its the same as you using fondant, which you can make a month in advance and store in a cardboard box.

I have made figures and flowers months in advance, I just keep them in a clean new box covered in a cool dry place. I have never had fading or anything. Its a great way to get ahead of the game when you have a lot to make! Good luck, those are very cute in the picture!!

AWould they still be ok to eat? Since they are cupcake toppers.. Made out of MMF.. I'm wondering if they will go too hard and children won't be able to eat them?
