ACake family. I am in desperate need of s great cake recipe. I have attempted this several times and all epic fail. HELP!!!!!!

Are you looking for a particular recipe? Which one did you try and fail with? What sort of failure was it? Cake didn't rise, didn't taste good, sunk in the middle, etc.

AI need a yellow or white sheet cake recipe. It baked good. I used Swanson cake flour and u could taste that flour taste. I also made it a the dye cake. Because a friend f mine wants one for her daughters birthday. I am in a major crunch. I would even like a pound cake recipe but it to br able to go into a sheet cake pan.
