AI have a 8 tier cake im doing for a wedding & i been looking to buy a set of cake stands but they are all made of hard plastic...im worried they qont support wieght good???

What is the size of your largest (bottom) tier? It sounds to me that you would need a metal plateau to support the weight of the cake well.

If you google cake stands or cake pedestals, you'll see ones made of milk glass, clear glass, porcelain, wood, metal, etc.

I find them sometimes at thrift stores.
