Ai would say minis would be best. i tried with regular sized ones and they didnt hold up. but i think i didnt have the best support in place, so maybe it would work better for you, although it would be a pretty big bouquet!!

They are usually standard size, if you search 'cup method cupcake bouquet' on CC, there are plenty of threads that explain it and show pictures :)
