Just an update on my Mum , she had her surgery this afternoon and apart from complaining that her jaw was a little sore , she is okay. 

She had Gall Bladder surgery. She is one fiesty 87 year old , they even think she may be home tomorrow.  

Excellent. I'm glad she's doing okay :)

I just got back from the hospital and she is sitting up as bright as a button , and had finished her dinner. 

My sister and I were astounded. 

Good to hear that she is on the mend Chelle.  My Dad is 80 and he had his gall bladder out 2 weeks ago and was barely in hospital at all.

Well Mum came home yesterday and apart from just a little soreness , all she needed was some paracetamol for. She is just great , thank you everyone for the kind thoughts and wishes, she got quite a kick out of them when I read them out to her.
