How To Duplicate This Lace Look.

I'm taking suggestions on how to best accomplish this lace look.  It appears to be completely piped on without a fondant lace piece under it.  Would it be an impression mat?  I can't tell.

I reminds me of henna look cakes, just white on white.  Lots of intricate piping

It's easier if you use a small set of cutters to mark the outlines in a basic pattern.  Then you can pipe away in sections.
