Thanks everyone.  I should say this isnt my first cake or piping job lol so thats why i wasnt super worried about it.  I was mainly worried because of all the straight lines.... but it came out great i think.

i ended up just piping on all the lines by hand, very slowly lol  took a couple of hours of straight piping but it was worth it!  bride loved it!

The great thing about the black is that it is jet black and the gold is also fantastic. It was easy to make as well and stayed flexible, it did not go hard at all.
