AHi guys, I am making a a lot of cupcakes for a market stall. I am wondering if anyone has froze their cooked cupcakes, or cupcake batter and when they thaw out do they still taste the same? TIA

I usually freeze mine undecorated. I just fit as many as I can in a freezer bag and then put that bag in another freezer bag and pop them in the freezer. Sometimes I wrap each cupcake in plastic wrap and then just put in one freezer bag, but I have found when I do this that the liners can start falling off during the thawing process. When I'm ready to decorate, I just set them out on the counter and they are ready to go by the time I get the piping bag filled.Freezing them keeps them really moist.

I just froze cupcakes for the first time.  I put them, undecorated, in freezer bags and froze for two weeks.  They tasted exactly the same from when I first made them.
