hi

i was just wondering what i can use instead of marzipan as i can't eat nuts. i have tried 2 recipes one that has semolina in and the other has soya flour but i didn't like them.

i don't want to use two layers of sugarpaste or just the crumb coat layer of buttercream then sugarpaste  as i don't think the finish looks as good.

so just thought if there were any other recipes out there that i haven't found or any other ideas that people might have!!

thanks

Use ganache.  Great finish.  Great taste.
