I need to make a cake for about 75 people.  I have never made a large cake before.  I am wondering if it is better to make 4 'regular' cakes (9x13) or buy a large half sheet pan and make one of those.  My main concern with the smaller cakes is my cakes tend to dome somewhat so I will be shaving off the top of each to make them even.  I have a large wood board that I will be covering to use.  Any suggestions would be welcome.  thanks

If single layer, you'll need one 12x18 half and one 9x13...
