Kind of like this to an extent. You'll want your base color a really light brown, like blonde almost. For maximum effect, you'll want to indent lines to mimic individual planks of wood. Then you can airbrush or paint over with a slightly darker brown, getting into the grooves you indented. Before it dries. take a paper towel soaked in vodka and wipe it away, in the direction of the planks. Might need to do it a couple of times, cause it will get gummy, but keep using a pretty wet paper towel. Soon you'll have streaks that will look wood grain, and your darker color will have stayed in the grooves that you made.
