Wilton Romantic Castle Cake Question

i have a client that wants to have a cake made with the wilton castle kit, what do you make the peaks of the castle with? cake? rice krispies? (the purple parts?) tia
if you have the wilton castle cake kit then it should contain those peaks...i have the kit and when i make the cake i usually spead a thin layer of icing on the peaks and then roll them in colored sugar...to match the colors of the cake :)
