I have to make this cake for my husband's grandparents - they just moved into their new garden home this week. Can anyone tell me how - or how you think - this person made the texture of the grass???

Thanks!!!!!!!!!!

It looks like 1 square pan and a rectangular pan, grass tip 233 (I think that is the #) the stones with an impression mat or one by one with fondant, for trees there is a tutorial here on CC and the house, I believe Wilton makes that mold. Water looks like BC, HTH and good luck!
Beautiful cake BTW!

They added that they used those pans but no more detail than that. It is so hard to see if the grass is raised off a little, like with the tip, or if it is just poked and pricked at BC. I pm'ed them but I don't know if I will get the answer in time! I don't have very long!

Don't panic! It'll be fine whichever way you do it. No matter what you do, it won't look just like the photo....it will have its own look, maybe better than the original. I think that the grass tip would work great!

Good point! I am changing the theme from winter to spring. I'd do the winter one at christmas - adding colored lights - endless options! But I figured for now I would make it with flowers instead of snow.
