Hello fellow bakers!

i need to make edible photo cookies and i was wondering if i HAVE to use royal icing for them?Can i use regular buttercream icing instead? will the BC make my cookies soggy? 

Are you putting an edible image on cookies?  I attach edible images on cookies by putting a thin smear of buttercream on the cookie to attach.    I then border out  the image with royal.    If you use butter cream, you won't be able to stack the cookies, but you can use butter cream.
