Plaque Using White Chocolate Candy Melts

I am planning to make a fondant covered cake and wanted to make a plaque since I don't want to write directly on the cake.

Can anyone suggest a way to make a plaque using white chocolate candy melts??

What I was thinking was to melt the chocolate and pour it out into parchment to cool then use a sharp knife or scalpel to cut out a panel of chocolate. Does this seem like it would work??

That works great - just don't put it in the fridge. Let it cool on the counter and cut out your shape before it gets too hard. THEN put it in the fridge to harden.

And don't wait TOO long after it hardens. I did this once and the knife cracked the edges to the point I had to re-melt and start again. icon_smile.gif
