Can someone tell me how to get my gumpaste soft enough to work with. My gumpaste always cracks and dries out. I would like to make it like a soft square flexible sheet. I would like to make a draping over my cake with it.

First of all, I do not use g/p to make draping for cakes. I use fondant, maybe (if i have to) a little tylose mixed in with it.(very little) G/P dries hard and you wouldn,t want to eat it. What brand are you using. Again, don,t use only g/p. I need to know what g/p you are using. I can, tell you how to work with that for flowers, etc. You can also use modeling chocolate mixed with little fondant for the draping also. That would taste really good. Do, give me more info, i mean to say, give us all more info. Then we can help you.
