I made this cake last year and now I need to find the beaded double hearts I used on the sides. They are just plastic dipped in something silver, they have a wire stem, I cut them off for this cake. My local party shop where I got them has gone out of business and I can't find them anywhere. I have looked at Joanns and Michaels. They must be online somewhere and I am just not typing in a title narrowing it down enough for Yahoo or Google search to know what I am searching for. I need 200 of these for a cupcake wedding cake this year. Can anyone help me find them, please?

Have you tried the craft section in walmart? I think I saw them in my local one!

SFF I am so disappointed, when I went to order them I realized they were gold, and wouldn't you know it, I need silver! Thank you for your help though, I do appreciate it and we're getting closer.

Try asking the e-bay seller if they can get them in silver for you. Doesn't hurt to ask

I did, I just had an email from her, unfortunately she only carries them in gold.

In the auction picture they don't look like a very gold, gold color. maybe you can still get away with them. I would try them anyways. They are only a few dollars.

I would but this bride is rather a bit of a bridezilla and since everything is in silver for the wedding I know she wouldn't approve these. There will be 150 cupcakes plus the sides of a heart shaped cake and although I could probably spray these silver it just seems too much work and I don't know that I would ever use them for another occasion.

ShirleyW. Why not ask ebay seller who the manufacturer is. If that doesn't work then you could order some and perhaps check from the packaging yourself. Just a thought.

When I emailed her to ask about silver I also asked if she knew where I could buy these. She didn't answer that questions. Not sure if she doesn't know or just doesn't want to refer to someone else.

I just looked at that link. They aren't expensive. I would order some, try to dip or paint them. Or look for the manufacturer on the packaging. If it doesn't work, save them for something else. you will eventually find a use for them. and if not, you're out, what, 5 bucks? its worth a try. explore your options while you have time to, otherwise, it may get down to crunch time and you still don't have anything and you may kick yourself for not trying this to start with.

I found some other's online that are single hearts, but they are available in silver. So if I don't get a lead on double silver hearts before this listing expires I will order them.

These are not the beaded look, but they are the open double heart. I wish you luck in finding what you want, the web is infinite...I imagine it would take days to find exactly what you are looking for.

I was at Wal-Mart last night, in the cake decorating isle (of course) anyway, I was looking at their wedding things, they have some hair picks that look just like these, they are very pretty, it would be worth checking out!

Thanks so much sugar friends, you have been a big help and I appreciate you taking the time to help me in my quest for these elusive little hearts. I ordered some on eBAY and they are in silver. Not the double hearts I had hoped for but beaded and in silver anyway.
