My MMF is an off-white almost ivory color lately. This isn't a problem usually and is barely noticeable, but this weekend I'm putting some white lilies on my cousin's wedding cake and the ivory color is very noticeable against the white flowers. Any suggestions for a really bright white color without painting the cake?
I normally add a few splashes of Wilton's White-White food colouring if I'm looking for a really bright white colour. Also, I've found that certain brands of marshmallows give me a really off coloured fondant so maybe look into that.
What sort of flavorings are you adding to your fondant? Sometimes if those are not clear (ex. brown artificial vanilla), I find my fondant ends up an off-white/ivory color
