Hi everyone, I'm new here, but I'm hoping I can get some advice ![]()
I am headed to a biiiig family event this weekend, and I am planning to make and bring a couple of cakes with me.
Only problem is that the cakes are going to have to sit in a car for 10 hours! And only about half of that time will the car be air conditioned.
I am currently planning to just bring the sponge down with me and will make the frosting and assemble the cakes in my hotel room, which has a full kitchen.
What would be the best way to transport the sponge? In a cooler with ice? Frozen? No ice necessary just put it in tupperware and tote with?
I've never done this before! your help is much appreciated ![]()
