Wine Glass Separators??

I am making an anniversary cake with wine glasses separating the top and bottom tiers (upside down). It will be a 10 and 6inch round and covered in fondant. How do I put it together so the wine glasses don't push through the bottom tier?

cover the seperator plate with fondant and play the glass on top.
