Help!!! Purple To Plum...

Ok so I'm making a wedding cake with 75 flowers out of gumpaste and she wants them Plum-the color of her wedding. I have it to purple but am having trouble getting that dark plum color. Any ideas or anyone who has gotten this dark color before?!?

I've used the violet and Christmas red and it just doesn't seem to get any darker. I was hoping I was missing some color that people have had better luck with.

I used navy to get a darker purple color.

I used violet and burgundy to match David's Bridal Wisteria which is very "plummy".
