Hi,
So what is the difference? Just the colour? Don't most people cover there boards in fondant??
Bit confused?

For all-occasion cakes, I use gold foil cake boards because I prefer the look of gold over silver. There's no other difference between the two. For specialty cakes, the caker decides the best way to present their cake.
