I'm entering a cake competition this month. It will be 5 tiers, dummy cake. 24-36" tall. Do you think dummy cakes will be stable enough on a cake stand, and a table that could be bumped by public, with the dummies simply stacked atop each other. Or should I use a dowel through the entire cake?
TIA!

No dowel. Just glue together with royal icing. Works great.
