How much difference is there between the Magic Line square pans and Wilton's Decorator Preferred pans (not the rounded performance pans). Do the Decorator Preferred pans give a sharp and edge as Magic Line? I know the performance pans are slightly rounded, but I wanted to know if the Decorator Preferred were just as good as Magic Line?

Any help is greatly appreciated.

I think rounded corners make the cakes harder to ice. Sharp corners in the pan and straight sides are very important to me.

My pan collection has a little of everything and any future purchases will be Magic Line. I LUV doing square cakes and they are the best pans!

I find that the magic line being square are far better... I have the rounded corners but am slowly buying the square ones.

I have one wilton square pan - I am not possitive that it is a prefered pan but I think it is (I am at work right now). Anyway it is alot like the Magic Line as it has nice straight corners and a lip around it. I will check when I get home and reply back and let you know exactly what it is. Anyway I really like the pan as well as my Magic Line ones.
