I made this recipe for buttercream on a wedding cake: http://cakecentral.com/recipe/light-fluffy-buttercream and the bride just informed me they will have their reception outside tomorrow. I have never used this recipe, so I am very unfamiliar with it. Will it hold up? It is supposed to be about 80 F with 13% humidity.
i don't believe so...i use the crusting buttercream recipe on here...others say they use Indydebi's recipe and it holds up well. either one of those will do in the heat
Thank you for the suggestion. I usually use IndyDebi's recipe, but for this design I needed something with a different texture. Hers does very, very well in all types of weather!
