I spent the better part of 3 hours on string work today. And aside from the frustrating fact that only 1 of every 8-10 strings were either nice enough to stay on this stupid entry or not breaking.....my eyes are KILLING ME. I'm cross eyed and when I stopped working and took off my glasses every thing was blurry.

What do you guys do about this? Do you buy magnifying eyeglasses from the drugstore, or is there some other trick I'm missing? I'll never finish this at this rate.... I'm practically seeing double!

I'm nearsighted so I take off my glasses for close work. I also clamp a desk lamp to the table to make sure I have plenty of light.

Other than that, the only other thing I can think of is to make sure to take breaks, even if they're brief. Glance up and look at something far away for a few seconds every 10-15 minutes.
