Moriarty's Brownies

These are a dense chewy type of brownie. I like them with black walnuts and sprinkled with powdered sugar.

2 sticks butter/margarine (1/2 lb.)
4 (1 oz.) squares unsweetened baking chocolate
1 3/4 cup sugar
2 teaspoons vanilla
4 eggs, beaten
1 cup flour
1 cup chopped nuts (optional)

Melt butter/margarine and chocolate in a large sauce pan. When melted, stir in sugar, vanilla, eggs, flour and nuts. Mix well and pour into a greased 13 x 9 inch pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 35 minutes. Sprinkle with powdered sugar or frost if desired.

Hi scp1127. I am going to try the Fat Witch Brownie recipe. Did you make any adjustments to that one? Are 4 eggs to much for this recipe? Also did you mix by hand or mixer? Thanks for your help. I am going to try the carmel one also.
