Hi, I need to make a Fireman Sam cake and I have made loads of decorations for it i.e. lights, ladder etc but I need to know the best way to stick them on to the fondant covered cake so they won't fall off. Please help? Thanks

I would say either royal icing or gumpaste glue. Have a great day icon_smile.gif

I agree, royal icing will set really strong, glue might take longer to dry. If you don't want to make RI, you can soften fondant with a small amount of water until it's soft enough to pipe and it will set just the same.

If your decorations are freshly made (& still soft and tacky) I just brush water on the back & it adheres!
