How Much Fondant Do I Need

How much fondant do I need to cover the Wilton's number 1 and number 2 cakes? I thought I had 2kg but i only have 1 is it going to be enough? icon_confused.gif

I'm not sure how big those pans are, but I would guess that 1kg won't be enough.

One kg wont be enough for both. Minimum 2kgs if not 2.5kg. they are approximately 12 3/4 x 8 1/2" x2 in dimensions. Better have on hand 2.5kg

Please be sure to note that the guide is for covering only and not for any other decorations you might be adding. Best to have too much than not enough.
