I've tried the 1234 white cake and didn't like it. Want to stay with homemade any suggestions.

I like the Tender White Cake recipe found on the back of King Arthur Cake Flour Box.

This recipe makes a very fluffy tender cake. The secret is in the mixing method, so you really want to follow the method as opposed to the traditional butter/sugar creaming method.
