I just got a new xacto knife and have only used it a few times, but it was washed last night and accidentally left out all night. So now it has a few rust spots on it, should I get a new one or does anyone know of an easy way to get the rust spots off?

Seriously? Uh, yeah, the blades are disposable and cheap. Rust is dangerous. This is a no-brainer.

okayy maybe the person didn't know that fromscratch...
To the op you can change the blade they usually have them right next to the knives at the craft store. Unscrew it place the new blade in and screw it back. They come in 5 packs I believe.
