Quick Question - Coloring Almond Bark?

Is the general consensus that you CANNOT use Americolor gels to color almond bark? I'm trying to work with what I have on hand. Thanks!!

You can if you can get the color to dissolve in a tiny bit of the bark along with some veg shortening/Paramount Crystals first. Then mix that into a larger batch of the bark. I've done it.
