How do you make horizontal buttercream ruffles on a cake? Row after row from top to bottom? What tip do you use? Does anyone have a picture of one that they made? Thanks.

Bottom to top. It's all in the wrist... http://www.wilton.com/technique/Ruffle

There's so many different styles of horizontal ruffles, but I did this one with a tip 102 and went top to bottom.

You can also pipe a row of shells, then use 102 over it to give it a fluffier look -- that's how I learned in my Wilton method class.
