Horizontal Lines On A Fondant Cake

How can I get horizontal lines around the side of a round fondant cake so it looks like a stack of records?
Grosgrain ribbon pin is not right - design is going in the wrong direction!

Personally I would do the same thing I do for book pages and use a the edge of a plastic ruler to indent the lines.

There is a wilton tool out there that is meant for vertical lines. About the only tool of theirs I like.
Mark lines lightly, then go around with maybe the veining modeling tool (the bent one) That way you can indent without tearing.
OR, this is how I would do it- carve the cake icing with a cake comb (large side), chill, then apply fondant.
