Does Modeling Choc Absorb Buttercream Moisture?

You know how a fondant accent will go limp when put on a buttercream cake because it absorbs the moisture, does modeling chocolate do the same thing? Thanks!

I did a wedding cake with chocolate roses with no problem.

I also make modeling chocolate decorations for top and sides and have no problem. Again, roses , cattelaya orchids, etc. no problem.
