I have not done any figurines in a while so I am asking for any of you cc ers for your help.? i want to make a male figurine would it be best for me to make my figurine in fondant and gumpaste or just fondant please help thank you all .I will be waiting for any response

I usually use a mixture of fondant/gumpaste. If you use just fondant, it will take too long to dry and may not hold the shape that you want. The more gumpaste you add the faster it will dry.

I use fondant with Tylose powder kneaded in. Approx. 1 lb. of fondant to 1 tsp of tylose. I feel it gives me a little longer to work then straight gumpaste does. I have also used 50/50 gumpaste and fondant.
