I wanted to say thanks for posting all your beautiful pictures of cake, they are inspirational. I am fairly new to cake decorating and seeing your work lets me know that with practice and patience I can achieve great things...so....thanks ! 
I've been here a little over three years now, and I still learn something new or get a new idea every time I log in. And you're right - it's thanks to the generosity of thousands of people at all levels of expertise, so I add my thanks to yours.
I'd like to join in and thank everyone for sharing their wonderful works of art on this site. I get so many ideas just by browsing the newest cakes section for 5 minutes a day. Since I am working on a nautical-themed cake tonight, I'd like to especially thank yanira1973, MayWest and Mandyrr for their nautical cakes, because I am "borrowing" from all three of them to create a cake that I hope my brother (who has been into ships and naval stuff all his life) and his two sons will like.
