Hi All-

Please- I need suggestions on how to bake a cake (probably the mud cake) so that it is in the shape of a Guiness Pint Glass- Can I bake right in the pint glass??? I have a few at home from the bar that became travelers at some point (ha)---

Or... do I back a rectangle and cut out circles?

TIA

Mo

Hi,

I have never done this before BUT, I wouldn't bake in that glass bc it might not be able to withstand the heat from baking.

Your idea of baking the rectangle and cutting out cake circles sounds like a good idea. One suggestion, when you cut out the circles, cut in varing sizes (small, medium, large) to help shape the glass and guide you in getting that perfect shape.

Good luck, HTH
