Help! Sps

Hi everyone!
Have anybody tried to cut sps plastic dowels before? Cake is due tomorrow and my dowels are 1" Longer... I'm freaking out! First 3 tier cake. Any suggestion or word of wisdom will be strongly appreciated!

I personally have never used SPS, but I'm positive that I've read of other's who have done so with success and suggested others to do so , if needed.

Yes they can be cut, just make sure they are still level

i got a ratcheting PVC pipe cutter. It goes very smooth and once it has made contact, holds the dowel steady for a level cut. I got it at home depot for around $10.
