I have never tasted or made SMBC. Is it like the whipped icing you can get on a cake from Walmart. My 10 year old niece does not like like buttercream. So I was thinking of SMBC. Anyone wish to share a recipe and tips! Many thanks,

It tastes a lot like whipped cream and the texture is similar too.

NO, it is not like the fake whipped icing you get form Wal Mart! It's a billion times better! icon_biggrin.gif

I think it tastes like a high quality ice cream and has the texture somewhere between a mousse and whipped cream.

It is very buttery, so if it's the butter taste she does not like, then it may not be the best choice. It is light and fluffy and not sicky-sweet.

To me, it tastes like whipped pure sweetened butter so it may not be the best idea for someone who doesn't like buttercream at all.
