Help - does anyone know of a tutorial on how to make a platform high heeled shoe? I know there are lots of tutorials on high heeled shoes, but I need to make one of those fancy platform high heels.

I made a platform shoe for my birthday last year. I just made the platform part out of cake then added the other shoe details out of fondant as usual. mine wasnt fancy, I hope that helps you some. icon_smile.gif

The Cake Engineer has a great looking platform and tutorial on her blog. I copied hers and it turned out great. On my second stiletto I changed the heel a little from her way. I wrapped fondant around a drinking straw. It was sturdy and hollow so I could insert a skewer into the cake board, and lower the shoe over the skewer making it very stable. Good luck! I am using my mobile phone and can't copy the link to my platform shoe and pillow cake. I put a picture there on one of the stages. Maybe it may help. Page 2 or 3 of my images gallery.
