Well I did get up yesterday at 5 to go exercise. I was secretly hoping my alarm wouldnt go off, (and it didnt because it is on the fritz) but I was sort of awake anyway and I knew I would feel good about it once I got up. 4 oclock though....that's too crazy for me.

Okay I am laughing as I read this. I used to stay up late but ever since I got a newspaper delivery job I have to get up at 3:30 AM everyday of the week. (Earlier if there is alot of snow). I have no trouble getting up because as soon as my alarm goes off, my dog who sleeps with me jumps out of bed so he can go outside (I guess he is a morning person too icon_wink.gif ) When I get home I have to wake up my oldest for school and then go to work at another job. So I try to be in bed by 9:30 at the latest. I would love to stay up later and watch all of the great shows but by Friday I am pooped. Thank god I have a DVR and can record everything(In my opinion one of the greates inventions ever)

9am - to a night person, this is a crazy-early time of day. To a morning person, half of their daily list is done.

9pm - to a night person, the day is half done. To a morning person, it's bedtime.

Dawn - to a night person, it's finally time to go to bed. To a morning person, it's time to get up.

I'm a night person. My dd's a night person. My fiance is a night person. Ds is the only morning person. He could go to bed at 2am and STILL be up and ready by 7am. The rest of us roll out at 10am.
Brunch is a regular meal here. If you want actual breakfast, cereal is available. Lunch is around 2pm, supper around 7pm. We take turns getting up with the kids on school days, and go back to bed at 730 when the bus arrives.

In fact, up for a dr appt today. It's QUIET at 830, because ds is at school and no one has woken up yet.

If you've ever been on CC at 6am and you haven't gone to bed yet, you're a night person.
If you're on CC at 6am and already had a full night sleep, you're a morning person.

My department has an unwritten rule that we don't talk until after 10 am. Literally, we don't even say good morning until then. We hibernate in our offices.

I didn't think I was that bad until my boyfriend and I were buying toys for my nieces and nephews, and he came across this dinosaur that makes noise. He pushed the little button and it roared, and he goes, "Listen! It's you before coffee!" Lucky for him, it was in evening.

This is funny..and interesting, because I always thought that I was NOT a morning person. I get up at 5:30am to get the kids ready and to go to work. I absolutely hate getting up in the morning and I've always hated it, when I get to work I really don't want anyone to say anything to me until I've had at least 10 minutes to get myself together and have had a sip of coffee.

But on the other hand, I usually can't stay up past 11pm. And even on the weekends I'm up by 8 am (if I stay in bed too much past 8 I'll get a headache). I always say that if I can sleep until 7 or 7:30 I'm fine! So maybe this all makes me a middle of the day person, is there such a thing??? Now I don't know what the heck I am!!

I've got it made....I work out of my house so I don't use an alarm to get up, but I'm always up by 8:00 or so. Same with my fiance, being self employed is the best! We have coffee and talk, and I go upstairs to my office around 9:00. It's nice not to feel rushed; we're never grumpy in the mornings.

No kids, just a 3 year old lab...she gets up when we do icon_biggrin.gif

I will add, that years ago when I worked at a bank, the 6:30 alarm made me cringe, grrrr.
