I have to make this cake in June. I thought the flowers are Vanda orchids, but now I'm not sure. It's hard to see what the centers look like. The bride emailed me the picture and the only place I've found it online is The Knot and they don't have any identifying info.
If the picture doesn't show up, it's located here: http://weddings.theknot.com/ODB/themes/realweddings/results.aspx?STOPREDIRECTING=TRUE&type=3&colors=purple&wedding%20details=Cake&ODBTHEMENAME=Real-Weddings&MsdVisit=1
It's the one with offset tiers, purple ribbon, and flower sprays on the front- the first one in the second row.
Does anyone know what the flowers are?
They are orchids, look at these ones:

There are many types.
They are phalaenopsis orchids (often called Moth Orchids)
Here is a tutorial I just found by Googling

Whew! I did buy the right cutter! I've already spent $28 for a cutter and I sure didn't want to buy another one.
I just remembered my log in for The Knot so I was able to find out it was made by Mark Joseph but I don't see it on his website.
Thank you, thank you, thank you!
