I usually bake mine about 12 minutes, sometimes a little longer

I cook mine about 15 minutes but it depends on your oven too. I always do the toothpick test around 10-11 minutes and then again a minute or two after that if it doesn't come out clean.

I made some day before yesterday and baked them for 12 minutes, checking them at 10 minutes.

I do however, tend to notice that my vanilla cupcakes tend to need more time in the oven than my chocolate... hmmm
