how do i get my sponge cakes to bake level have tried flower nail technique without success ?
Baking strips around the outside... you can make your own by cutting up a towel, soaking it in water, wrap it around the pan and secure it with a pin. You have to bake slightly longer but the cake will be more level.
Also, are you baking at 325 F ?
