i planing to make a 3D giraffe made with RKT in March 10 and I was wondering how advanced can I make the RKT and make the giraffe with RKT and over with MMF

I make my RKTs figures in advance of my due date all the time and sometimes I make them a few wks ahead. So you can begin making it xnow or next week if you like.
After I make the figure and i let it harden then cover in fondant, when Im done. i cover it in saran wrap to prevent anything getting on it and i store it in a cool n dry place and if i have support sticks insterted, I use a sytrofoam to stick it into and it dries that way until Im ready for it. It always works for me.
Remember that over time, yr figure will become hard as days go on so, you will either have to make your supoort holes before the drying starts or a day after the dryinmg starts. I learned this the hard way some yrs ago, lol.
