I need to make a beer bottle mold but don't know what to use. I tried using Mold Builder Liquid Latex from Michael's but was very happy with the final result. I would much rather use something that is safe to use with food. Does anyone know what else I can use to make a sugar beer bottle and where I can purchase the products? Thanks in advance
Hi,
There is a Tutorial here on CC in the Tutorial section and they use Copyflex Food Grade Silicone.

there will be a class soon on this, i just wish, I would live a H*ell of a lot closer
Cake Structure http://www. the foamstudio .com sells molds which are already completed.
Thanks! I came across a couple of forums ans a few people said they have used Amazing Mold Putty. Has anyone used this? If so can you please give me a review
I've used and like it a lot for small things, like buttons, brooches and small pieces of lace. It set up too quickly for a larger project. I tried to do a piece of lace that was about 7" x 3" with very intricate details and just couldn't get the whole piece done before the Amazing Mold Putty set. For something like a beer bottle, though, it would probably be fine and it is food safe.
